Enhance your skills with ¹ú²úÂÒÂ×'s eLearning resources designed for all those involved in preparing your service for CQC assessment. Access courses to support your team's journey toward achieving Good and Outstanding care ratings.

¹ú²úÂÒÂ× has designed a range of eLearning modules to help you understand what is expected of your service and how you can best evidence these expectations. For adult social care providers in England, the cost of these modules can be claimed back by new Government funding.

Each module is aimed at managers and quality and compliance leads, although anyone involved in CQC assessment can complete the module. You will be awarded a certificate upon completion.

All of our content is based on successful practice from real organisations and we use this insight to inform the interactive information and filmed examples of how good quality care impacts people, staff, managers and the wider business.

The content of these eLearning modules have also been updated to align with the new CQC Single Assessment Framework, reflecting the latest insight and recommendations to be ready.

Our eLearning offer currently consists of the following one-hour modules:

Being prepared for CQC assessment eLearning

If you’re a new service, a new manager or are unfamiliar with CQC assessment, it's vital you are prepared. This module is also useful to introduce other staff at your service to the CQC assessment process.

Being prepared for CQC assessment eLearning covers:

  • why assessment is important
  • what and how will the CQC assess
  • how to be ready for the Single Assessment Framework
  • what does good and outstanding care look like
  • who can help you prepare for assessment
  • how to evidence you are meeting CQC expectations.

The module is fantastic and easy to use. It has helped me already. It’s very welcome at a time where focussing on this important area has been difficult. I have not found it easy obtaining quality advice in this area. I know I can trust ¹ú²úÂÒÂ×. It has helped me to be clearer about how to prepare for inspection.

I thought the course was informative, easy to follow and explained the assessment process really well. I would highly recommend this course to all my team.

Improving your CQC rating eLearning

If your service has fallen below CQC standards, quick recovery is essential to ensure the quality of care provided is adequate and to protect your reputation.

Improving your CQC rating eLearning covers:

  • the impact of falling below CQC standards
  • how to identify and prioritise areas for improvement
  • involving others in helping you to improve
  • how to test, review and implement improvements
  • what will be needed to meet the Single Assessment Framework
  • practical ways to evidence improvements.

Great course, it really highlighted some of the things I already knew but didn’t quite grasp. I learnt how to look at the improvements needed and manage them in an effective and efficient way.

Delivering Outstanding Care eLearning

For those committed to delivering the highest levels of care, this module covers how you can exceed CQC expectations to achieve an Outstanding rating.

Delivering Outstanding care eLearning covers:

  • what does outstanding care look like

  • identifying gaps between good and outstanding care

  • how to be outstanding in the context of the Single Assessment Framework
  • involving others in delivering outstanding care

  • evidencing that you are delivering outstanding care.

This was extremely useful, for me as a new manager to look at what we do now and what we could be doing. It was reassuring to see actually how much of this I was already doing, so that made me feel confident, and it gave me inspiration for continuous improvement.
